History:
Since 1977 Cap. Ken Daubert has been busy designing, molding, and perfecting frog prototype designs to create the "Ultimate Bass Fishing Frog."
In 2008 he unveiled his "Designer Series Frogs."
Ken's Designer Frogs mimic swimming action with their unique back leg kick that no other top water lure manufacturer has ever achieved before.
Each Designer Frog is custom made by Ken, making them an artistic work of beauty!
Along his journey, the demand for his frogs increased, and he realized that the average Bass Angler couldn't afford $50 custom-made frogs. So..

SKITTER LEGS: The first truly weedless buzz bait! -
Finally, the long-awaited introduction of the Skitter Legs & rear stinger hook system is here! Captain Ken Daubert, the founder of the "Clones & Original Kicking Legs" has been fishing prototype Skitter Legs systems for some time now. His most famous fish shown on our 3rd Youtube video is of a monster bass (possibly in the 15lb category) which engulfed a Clone dressed with a set of Skitter Legs. This fish eventually got off, but interestingly this Clone was being used only with the original singular front hook setup. Customer feedback & criticism has all but demanded a better hooking system for these awesome frogs. Now, it's here!

Skitter Legs packages come with:
4 sets of Skitter Legs with different densities and shapes. The back of the package outlines the suggestions and situations in which the different legs thrive in.
1 Rear Stinger hook. The hook is pre-rigged with shrink tubing to an internal chamber that goes inside of the Clones. It's designed to ride high up to prevent hang-ups from most vegetation.
1 plastic leg spreader. Note - these spreaders can and will wear out. We suggest that after opening your Clones or Skitter packages, that you take a scissors and cut a few custom weed spreaders from the plastic packaging. Use the original as your pattern. Then, simply take a push pin and make your own hole for the pin. Nothing to it! The leg spreaders help create action & keep the legs from getting caught in the hooks.
The Skitter Legs & rear stinger hook system have simply made and already awesome product that much better. Although we still love the original kicking legs, we believe the Skitter Legs will quickly become the favorite option of our topwater customers. It's just that good! The Skitter Legs covers so much water, and best of all, the stinger hook nearly never misses a strike. Good luck, and thanks for the support!
